What goes in your general household waste bin
Your green wheeled bin is for non-recyclable household waste which cannot be placed in your:
This bin can also sometimes be black.
We will not collect any household waste that is not in your bin. The lid on the bin must be closed.
We provide a separate collection service for items which will not fit into the green bin – book a bulky waste collection.
What not to include
Do not include:
- soil, bricks and concrete
- tyres or car parts
- building rubble and stones
- paints, oils or solvents
- fixtures and fittings – bathroom fittings and kitchen units
- batteries
- vapes
You can take these items to your local recycling centre.
