Local people with sight loss enjoyed a creative flower-making workshop last month, thanks to funding from Newark and Sherwood District Council. Artist Elaine Winter led the workshop at My Sight Newark on Tuesday 24 January.

After two successful rounds of Newark and Sherwood District Council’s Community Grant Scheme, a further 37 groups have applied for a third-round of funding, which will see the total cash boost for community group projects across Newark and Sherwood reach £150,000.
