Dear residents, Today (23 May) marks two years of being Leader of Newark and Sherwood District Council; it’s been the privilege of my life to serve you, the residents.

As part of the Midlands Net Zero Hub's Devolution Scheme project, Newark and Sherwood District Council has successfully retrofitted five of their social housing properties with significant energy-efficient upgrades.

£500 of Newark and Sherwood Gift Cards are set to be given away between 12 May and 25 May by local businesses, encouraging residents to ‘shop local’ and boost the local economy.
