Working with their tenants, Newark and Sherwood District Council has announced the implementation of its new Good Neighbourhood Management Policy which aims to enhance the quality of life for all residents by promoting harmonious living conditions and addressing noise complaints in a fair and sensitive manner.

Newark and Sherwood District Council is excited to announce the ongoing success and expansion of its Careline service, which now offers vital support to customers both within and outside the district, enabling more people to live independently in their own homes. The Careline service provides 24/7 assistance, 365 days a year, by simply pressing a button.

A rare and puzzling Roman object is now back on display at the National Civil War Centre in Newark. Known as the Norton Disney Dodecahedron, the 12-sided, hollow copper alloy object has fascinated archaeologists and visitors alike with its unknown purpose and striking craftsmanship.
