CON29 searches for additional parcels
You may be changed additional fees if:
- there are multiple parcels
- the search extent area is greater than 2km square
If there are any additional addresses contained, we will contact you to confirm if they are to be included and additional charges will be agreed. Some optional questions are also charged per parcel.
Residential
Individual residential addresses require separate searches.
Exceptionally, if a property has a common boundary (for example a block of flats) and the search is on the building as a whole, we will charge for additional parcels per address to include all in the same search.
Commercial
Land divided into multiple areas will be charged per field (based on OS mapping at 1:2500 scale) and each is classed as an individual parcel.
If the boundary is not continuous, there may be additional fees incurred from external answering agents.
Separately rated business properties require separate searches.
Exceptionally, if a property has a common boundary (for example an industrial unit) and the search is on the building as a whole, we will charge for additional parcels per business to include all in the same search.
New developments
Searches on built property are residential searches. Land or properties which have not yet been commenced will be charged as commercial.
Once a property is commenced, it requires a residential CON29 search per address.
