Updates on work at Intake Wood, Clipstone

We wanted to let you know that our teams will be returning to site on Thursday 14 May, where they will be working throughout the day to complete the remaining footpath improvements and help guide footfall away from the harvester tracks.

Ash Kitchen will be on site leading one of the operational teams. A second team will be working separately on the opposite side of the woodland.

Across both areas, works will include:

• Carefully managed chainsaw operations
• Brash removal and windrowing (tidying and grouping of cut vegetation)
• Ground and terrain management to support safer path crossings
• Improvements to access points, including routes on and off existing harvester tracks

We recognise that this type of work can cause some temporary disruption, and we really appreciate your patience and understanding while these essential improvements are completed. The aim is to ensure the woodland remains safe, accessible, and enjoyable for everyone in the longer term.
