People living in homes with damp and mould may be at risk upper respiratory tract symptoms and we aim to treat it quickly to make their homes safe places to live.
Awaab’s Law was a new amendment to the Social Housing Act and came into force in October 2025. This means that social landlords must treat damp and mould within strict time limits.
