We provide a range of essential services across the district. This climate emergency strategy sets out the framework and roadmap for reducing carbon emissions across our own operations in providing these services. The strategy includes:
- the target that we are aiming to achieve
- a shortlist of the carbon reduction projects that will be undertaken to reach this target
- additional actions we will take to reduce, eliminate or offset our own carbon emissions
- how progress will be monitored and reported on
- how we will continue to engage and support others, individuals, businesses and community organisations to drive broader action in the district
