Councillors, committees and meetings

Find out who your councillor is and how to contact them, and information about committees and meetings.

Councillors

Local councillors are elected by the community. They decide how the council should carry out its various activities, including how local services are run. Councillors represent general public interest as well as the individuals living in the ward where they’ve been elected.

County councillors

You can find details of all county councillors on the Nottinghamshire County Council website.

Committees

Councillors make decisions on behalf of the council by taking part in various committees. For full details of how our committees work, you can read part C of our constitution. For an up-to-date list of committee memberships and recent activities, including meeting minutes, visit out committees page.
