Rename or renumber an existing street
There are occasions where existing street naming and numbering is found to be unsatisfactory. This includes where:
- there is confusion over a street’s name and/or numbering
- a group of residents are unhappy with their street name
- the number of named-only properties in a street is deemed to be causing confusion for emergency services, postal services or delivery services
All such cases will be thoroughly investigated before deciding on a course of action.
If it is decided that renaming or renumbering is necessary, we will act in an advisory role only.
