Subscription details

The cost for a yearly garden waste collection subscription is £40, as of 1 April 2026. Concessions are not available. 

Subscriptions run from 1 April to 31 March. The cost is the same regardless of when you sign up. Subscriptions do not automatically renew. 

What you will receive

You will receive:

• a new brown garden waste bin – this applies to new subscriptions only and not for renewals
• collections every two weeks from March to November
• collections every four weeks from December to February

You can also use your brown bin to dispose of chopped up Christmas trees. 

If you need more than one bin

As of 1 April 2026, an extra bin will cost £40.

When you sign up, you can select an extra bin. You can also order a second bin by contacting us.

After you apply

Once we receive your payment, we will:

• deliver a new brown bin to your property if you are a new customer
• send you a sticker to place on your bin

Make sure the sticker is clearly placed on your bin. We will only collect bins with stickers.

Assisted garden waste bin collections

If you are not able to put your bin out for collection, you may be eligible to apply for assisted bin collections.
